APRIL 21st ISF EASTER GATHERING
We would like to again invite you to our very special EASTER gathering. This gathering will be on Friday, April 21 st at 7:30 PM in the beautiful Ballroom of the William Pitt Union . The William Pitt Union is located in Oakland on the corner of Bigelow and Fifth Avenue . To get to the Ballroom, use the entrance on Fifth Avenue and then follow the signs. At this gathering we will once again have Joyce Gahagen present a chalk drawing portraying some aspect of the wonderful Easter story. You won't want to miss this! Also there will be special music, wonderful fellowship, and children's activities in the Kurtzman room. We hope you plan to attend and invite someone to come along with you. It's all free!
THE SEAMLESS ROBE
There is one item in the account of the crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ that is seldom, if ever, referred to in any depth, namely, His seamless robe. In John's Gospel it says, “…the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. (John 19:23 ).In the Bible, garments speak of conduct or of a display of character. A good example is “be clothed with humility” (I Peter 5:5). What precious truths about Jesus can we learn as seen in His seamless robe? Jesus was flawless and absolutely beyond reproach in His character. He is “holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens” (Hebrews 7:26 ). There is no seam dividing His gentleness from His firmness, His authority from His winsomeness, or His mercy from His sincerity. His is uniquely beautiful in His character. The robe is all in one piece. We see Him full of truth, yet full of grace; come to save, yet come for judgment; eating with His disciples in the upper room, yet sitting at the table with sinners. All is done in His life with uniform consistency. Nothing is ever out of perspective. His power is without pride, knowledge is without superiority, and authority is without arrogance. Yes, His robe is woven on the loom of eternity.

LETTER
FROM THE ISF ASSISTANTS
Dear International Friend,
Greeting to you from International Student Fellowship.
We would like to take this opportunity to convey our best wishes to you and to let you know that throughout the days and months we think of you. From time to time we receive pictures, cards and e-mails from many of you. We enjoy hearing from you more than you can imagine. The memories we have are ones that we have made together during your time in Pittsburgh. Although some have moved away that does not mean that we don't think about you.
The month of April makes us keenly aware of new life around us. Trees and flowers are blooming. The weather will gradually get warmer and warmer. Everything in nature is according to God's plan for creation.

NEVER AGAIN
Because of the power of the Resurrected Christ I never again need to say “I can't,” for “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”
Never again will I admit lack, for “ My God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Phil 4:19 ).
Never again will I fear, for “God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of self-discipline” (2 Tim. 1:7).
Never again will I harbor doubt and lack of faith, for “The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear” (Ps. 27:1).
Never again will I lack wisdom, for “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5).
Never again will I be worried and frustrated, “Casting all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you” (1 Pet. 5:7).
Never again will I be in bondage, for “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” ( 2 Cor. 3:17 ).
